A Southern Sunday Post! I'm Already Looking Forward To Hearing "Well Done!"

Stop everything you are doing at the moment and listen to this song! Promise me you will! ( just click on the link and it will play!) skip the ads...It is life changing!!! I loved it and I cannot quit playing it! Hence, this post!!!!

God doesn't  ask that much of us when you consider all that He did for us!
This truth hit me right between the eyes when my precious Holly told me about Moriah Peters and her song, 'Well Done'....it was a turning point in their lives at their new CFA store  for one of their employees as well as themselves! It was a turning point in skepticism on all of their parts...employees and bosses alike! Co workers and friends...friends and acquaintances!
It was definitely a decisive moment in my life when I heard this story about an well loved employee that left for concerns that alot of us don't understand...the one thing that bound them all together was their mutual love for Christ! That was all I needed to hear to know that God was using these differences in their lives to bring them all together! And in turn...let me hear a song that would revolutionize my life! I will never not love this song and all that it means...the words are phenomenal!

I'm headed down this narrow road
Chosen by the few
And all that I know is
You told me to follow You

I'm taking a risk and leaving it all
Not knowing what I'll go through
But I'm not alone
As long as I follow You

So when my life's a leap of faith
I can hear You say

Well done, well done
I'm gonna chase You, Lord
I'm gonna show the world Your love, woah
I'll run, I'll run
I'm gonna run this race
To hear You say well done

If people walk with me, talk with me, looking for truth
They're gonna find out soon
If they're following me then
They're gonna follow You

So let my life speak loud and clear
Lord, I wanna hear

Well done, well done
I'm gonna chase You, Lord
I'm gonna show the world Your love, woah
I'll run, I'll run
I'm gonna run this race
To hear You say well done

I'm so glad that I get to serve You, Lord
You're the only One I am living for, woah
I'm gonna run straight into Your open arms
I'm gonna follow You with my all heart, woah, woah

Well done, well done
I'm gonna chase You, Lord
I'm gonna show the world Your love, woah
I'll run, I'll run
I'm gonna run this race
To hear You say well done

I'm gonna run this race
To hear You say well done
[x2]

Well done

I sure hope you took the time to listen to this wonderful song and let the true meaning of it sink in to your soul! Every time I hear it I feel like God is lifting a burden off of me...one that I may not have even known that I had! But it's the truth! God's word is the only truth that I need and the one that I need to follow...even when I'm uncertain of what the next day may bring! The best thing...the ONLY thing that means anything to me is that one day I will hear, "Well done!"

I hope you enjoy your Sunday....it's a Southern Sunday indeed! Mitch, Britney, Layton and Holly will be eating with us tonight! Yes, we are missing two of our kiddo's but I know that they are where they should be! ( that is, if they listened to us! )
Anyway, we are having a fun dinner and I am playing Moriah's song for Layton! I can't wait to 'grow up' with Layton! She makes me happy! She makes my heart glad! I can just see her singing this song one day! She has a heart of gold!!
Because I felt a longing for a Thanksgiving Feast last week we have leftover turkey...therefore, we are having Turkey Tortilla Soup for dinner along with Ham Delights!
The ham delights were a huge hit at my shop's Open House and I'm so glad they were!
I want to share that recipe with you this week!
Try both of these recipes when you can, but more than anything, listen to Moriah's song...the words are just what we need to hear every morning to start our day...to end our day...to be able to hear from Him on that final day,
 "Well Done"!

Turkey Tortilla Soup

one of the things I'm most excited about is simply Moriah's song....but I must admit that I love it for my next title of the Cookbook that I hope to follow up with after "Collections"! What a great title!
Well Done~~~
talk to you tomorrow!
